Young Explorers: Maps of Hidden Worlds

Pera Kids
Ages 9-12

  • August 8, 2023 / 13:30

Children ponder on imaginary maps such as the map of Neolithic Göbeklitepe, a magic forest or fantastic sea creatures. Afterwards, they examine how the view and discovery of the environment have changed with maps and landscape paintings from the Middle Ages to the present and put these learnings into practice using different techniques. Participants create a map of their environment or a world they imagine in 2D and 3D formats.

Instructor: Ekin Can Göksoy
Capacity: 10 people
Duration: 90 minutes
Fee per workshop: 200 TL

The event will take place at the Pera Museum (face-to-face).
