Storytelling: Whispers of the City

Pera Adult

  • March 31, 2023 / 19:00

In this workshop, inspired by the multi-layered structure of the Istanbuls Today exhibition, which brings together contemporary visual narratives from different Istanbuls, the participants set out from photographs selected from the exhibition and construct the story of a city through various creative writing techniques. Participants build a story through three visuals/objects that inspire the introduction-body-conclusion components. Then, they become a part of this collective narrative by collaborating on the storylines together.

This is one of Stanisław Chlebowski’s larger canvasses dealing with themes other than battles; only Ottoman Life at the Sweet Waters now at the Istanbul Military Museum can compare with it in size.

At The Well

At The Well
