Pera Kids
Ages 4-6

Bringing colorful, lively and mischievous characters together with unique compositions, the participants experience the works of Paula Rego with a guided tour, and design dioramas inspired by these works, transforming the fairy-tale paintings that are painted on a 2-dimensional surface into a 3-dimensional miniature model.

Materials
Cardboard box (A rectangular shoe box or a gift box can be used) Drawing block
Crepe papers
Craft papers
Wooden sticks
Glue
Acrylic paint or watercolor or crayons
Scissors

The materials to be used in the workshop will be provided by the participants themselves.

The event will be held using the Zoom Meeting application, the workshop on the exhibition will be held following an online tour of the exhibition with a guide.

We kindly request that children between the ages of 4 and 6 be accompanied by an adult.

A participation certificate will be emailed to all participants.

Martín Zapater y Clavería, born in Zaragoza on November 12th 1747, came from a family of modest merchants and was taken in to live with a well-to-do aunt, Juana Faguás, and her daughter, Joaquina de Alduy. He studied with Goya in the Escuelas Pías school in Zaragoza from 1752 to 1757 and a friendship arose between them which was to last until the death of Zapater in 1803.
