Does everyone love the same color? Do we all like the same objects? Inspired by the exhibition A Question of Taste that focuses on the close relationship of kitsch with the contemporary visual culture as well as its critical role in shaping taste, we talk about the concept of taste and then experience mixed techniques in the workshop. We create authentic designs using a range of materials including canvas, paint, textile, beads, and sequins, etc. This workshop spurs our creativity and gives us a platform to visualize what is imagined and express it freely through materials.

Niko Pirosmani

Niko Pirosmani

“A nameless Egyptian fresco, an African idol or a vase from Crete: we should behold Pirosmani’s art among them. Only this way it is possible to conceive it genuinely … …You see Pirosmani – you believe in Georgia”.
Grigol Robakidze
