  • June 18, 2023 / 13:30

Have you heard of the astronomical measuring instrument called the astrolabon, which combines the words "star" and "to catch" in Ancient Greek? Children and their fathers, who tour The Art of Weights and Measures exhibition with a guided tour, get to know tools such as quadrant and astrolabe, which are measuring instruments used in astronomy, as well as determining time and direction in the past. Participants then design star-collars that can measure the latitude of their location when they go out on a cloudless night and point it towards the pole star.

Capacity: 10 children (and their fathers)

The event is free of charge. eservation is required.
The event will take place at the Pera Museum (face-to-face).

José Sancho does not conceal the voluptuousness of his female torsos; he highlights it. These torsos are symmetrical from front, but on the other hand, from the side, the juxtaposition of concave and convex forms creates dynamism.
