Pera Museum continues to collaborate with national and international education institutions to introduce young artists’ and designers’ works to audiences. As part of the Confrontation exhibit held on the 25th anniversary of Yeditepe University, online events bring panelists from different disciplines together.
In the talk titled “Transition from School to Life”, artists who have recently completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in Plastic Arts and Painting will discuss the current art environment, what it means to be an artist and starting a career in art.
This meeting will be held on Zoom in Turkish. Reservations are required.

1638, the year Louis XIV was born –his second name, Dieudonné, alluding to his God-given status– saw the diffusion of a cult of maternity encouraged by the very devout Anne of Austria, in thanks for the miracle by which she had given birth to an heir to the French throne. Simon François de Tours (1606-1671) painted the Queen in the guise of the Virgin Mary, and the young Louis XIV as the infant Jesus, in the allegorical portrait now in the Bishop’s Palace at Sens.
