As part of the exhibition Cold Front from the Balkans Pera Museum is presenting a discussion with the curators Ali Akay and Alenka Gregorič and with the artists Mladen Miljanović, Lana Čmajčanin, Raša Todosijević, IRWIN and Ivan Moudov. The talk will focus on the art and history of the Balkan region as well as the artists’ works.

Free of admissions, drop in. This event will take place in the auditorium. The talk will be in English with simultaneous Turkish translation.

Between 1963 and 1966 Andy Warhol worked at making film portraits of all sorts of characters linked to New York art circles. Famous people and anonymous people were filmed by Andy Warhol’s 16 mm camera, for almost four minutes, without any instructions other than ‘to get in front of the camera’.

In the 60s, Alberto Giacometti paid homage to Paris, the city where he lived, by drawing its streets, cafés, and more private places like his studio and the apartment of his wife, Annette. These drawings would make up his last book, Paris sans fin (Paris Without End).
