The “Planets and Satellites” workshop will take us to a discovery tour around the Solar System. Together with the children, we will be assigned planets and all observe our size and relative distance to the Sun, and perform Solar and Lunar eclipses. During the workshop, we explore planets and moons via celestial body models, while enhancing our cognitive, socio-emotional and psychomotor skills through the inquiry-based learning method.

Istanbul’s Seaside Leisure: Nostalgia from Sea Baths to Beaches exhibition brought together photographs, magazines, comics, objects, and books from various private and institutional collections, and told a nostalgic story while also addressing the change and socialization of the norms of how Istanbulites used their free time. Istanbul’s Seaside Leisure was a documentary testament of the radical transformations in the Republic’s lifestyle.

Sea Baths
