Face-to-Face

In the workshop, students who visit Marcel Dzama: Dancing with the Moon with a guide free their imagination and dream of winged horses, masked figures, and extraordinary creatures, just like in Dzama's paintings. Using transparent paper placed over the animal photographs of their choice, students make copies of them and transform them into brand-new characters by adding horns, masks or extraordinary limbs.

Guided tours and workshops are free of charge for public schools.

Nam June Paik was video art’s pioneer (1932 –2006). It is interesting that while Warhol and Nameth were experimenting with psychedelic happenings that combined rock, film and performance, the video art pioneers Nam June Paik, Stephen Beck, Eric Siegel and Steina Vasulka were researching in a similar direction.

Louis Isadore Kahn (1901-1974)

Louis Isadore Kahn was born in 1901 to a Jewish family in Pärnu, Russia (today Estonia), far from Philadelphia where he spent his whole life, worked, fell in love, and breathed his last. Kahn family emigrated to America when he was five years old.
