Specifically designed for The Art of Weights and Measures exhibition, children actively engage in socio-emotional learning processes. The session, which includes games of reenactment and improvisation, begins in the exhibition area and continues in the workshop space. Children bring to life the process by which objects from thousands of years ago are discovered by archaeologists and transformed into exhibited artefacts, accompanied by various creative drama techniques.

While Paula Rego belatedly was recognised as one of the leading feminist pioneers of her age, little has been written about her exploration of fluid sexuality. Indeed the current of sado-masochism in her drawings and paintings, has tended to encourage an understanding as a classic clash between the patriarchy and exploited women.
