On April 23rd, National Sovereignty and Children's Day, in this workshop where traditional shadow puppetry techniques are learned, and fun shadow puppets are designed, children draw a sea creature they imagine in a jointed way inspired by Karagöz figures. At the end of the workshop, the children transform the figures, which they decorate with colored gelatins, pieces of tulle and their imagination into puppets using scissors and knives, and bring their imagination to the stage by animating the puppets they have designed on the shadow screen.

Memory of the Region

Memory of the Region

Objects also bear the memory of the geography to which they relate. Ceramics, with soil as their primary material, are directly linked to the land where they are produced: forging a direct relationship with earth, ceramics bear the memory of the soil where they come from.

Remembering the Future

Remembering the Future
