Amusing Sea Creatures

Pera Enabled

In this workshop, we take our inspiration from the multicolored sea creatures that are the hosts of our oceans and seas. We will be chatting about what kind of measures we can take to keep the oceans and seas clean, using a variety of paints and materials to design amusing creatures of the sea.

Following the instructor-guided tour of the 17th Istanbul Biennial, this workshop, designed for students with special needs, aims to help these students develop hand and eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Postcard Nudes

Postcard Nudes

The various states of viewing nudity entered the Ottoman world on postcards before paintings. These postcards appeared in the 1890s, and became widespread in the 1910s, following the proclamation of the Second Constitutional Monarchy, traveling from hand to hand, city to city.
