In this workshop, the participants get to know the practices and stories of people in different geographies, who try to understand the world through the actions of measuring and weighing, by visiting The Art of Weights and Measures exhibition with a guided tour. Examining interesting objects that have traveled more than humans from Mesopotamia in the second millennium BC to the present, the participants design ornaments based on stone weights in the form of sleeping ducks, which people used to wear around their necks as amulets in the past.

Coffee was served with much splendor at the harems of the Ottoman palace and mansions. First, sweets (usually jam) was served on silverware, followed by coffee serving. The coffee jug would be placed in a sitil (brazier), which had three chains on its sides for carrying, had cinders in the middle, and was made of tombac, silver or brass. The sitil had a satin or silk cover embroidered with silver thread, tinsel, sequin or even pearls and diamonds.
