In this special Mother’s Day event, first the exhibition Dancing with the Moon is visited with a guided tour, then ready-made linoleum prints inspired by the fairytale and figurative world of Marcel Dzama are used in the workshop.
Participants create their compositions by painting different print elements and making colorful and creative applications on tote bags. Each bag creates a collaborative expression space and turns into a fairytale-like gift.

John Frederick Lewis is considered one of the most important British Orientalist artists of the Victorian era. Pera Museum exhibited several of Lewis’ paintings as part of the Lure of the East exhibition in 2008 organized in collaboration with Tate Britain.
